THE MAP BELOW IS OF PUBS THAT HAVE BEEN KNOWN
TO ALLOW MOTOR-HOMES TO STOP OVER NIGHT
Some may charge for you stopping & most require you to use their establishment in return.
You still need to politely ask if you can stay overnight, but as they have given permission before you should get a positive response. In busy periods however, (Summer, Bank Holidays & Weekends) you may get refused, so best to call first at these times.

Some of the Pubs added to the map recently
Maps for motor-homers, FREE TO VIEW
www.wildcamping.moonfruit.com. I created these maps of Pubs (& a few others) that have been known to allow stopovers for Motorhomes. I have collected these over the past 15 years as a motor-homer. They are from recommendations by satisfied customers and from landlords wanting to be included on the map. These are not official sites so be aware, you could be refused. Some may charge for you stopping & most require you to use their establishment and please call before arriving to ensure your welcome You still need to politely ask if you can stay overnight, but as they have given permission before you should get a positive response. However in busy periods you may get refused please try to confirm the reason before sending an email saying they do not want MH's. There are also Rugby clubs or other sporting venues recommended. Spend in the club and park for free said Clive, from S Wales. Look for the Blue sporting icon If you visit one of these pubs I would appreciate a quick e-mail with any information that can be added to the descriptions. Please email any feedback to px07 (insert the appropriate symbol) gmx.com Are you are a landlord, or know one that would like to be added to the list, please use the e-mail above, or if you wish your entry to be removed. Use the map to select the area you want to visit and then choose your Pub (Beer glass) a box containing known information will display. Red X icon is for pubs that have been known to be unwelcome to MH, even though previously they may have welcomed Motorhomes to stop. This may include raising charges to an unacceptable level. I accept no responsibility for the accuracy of the information but try to keep it up do date. |
